Reason for giving up: Huey was rescued from being on a 3-4 ft chain in San Diego. He is currently in boarding, and he is looking for a foster home, or better yet, a forever home.
He steals the hearts of many and the vet staff LOVE him!! People walk up to him , he shows no fear or aggression, all he wants to do is be a puppy & play!!! He is a happy boy with a great tempermant and disposition.
Huey is still very much a puppy--9-12mos old, learning puppy manners & basic skills--he just learned "sit" & wait & he focuses well. He is quick & eager to learn.
A 6 week basic group training course is also being included in his adoption ..I have him enrolled the end week of Juy to start obedience school.
Huey is a mild mannered puppy for the most part, just curious about things he isnt familiar with. He LOVES car rides and will try to bite at the air, loves, walks & going to the park & beach.
This little guy has a lot of love to give & I am hoping someone will open their heart and home & give him a chance at love & his much deserved freedom.
Although I go see him every day it just isn't enough. This boy needs a home & not to be stuck in boarding, he needs to be a part of a loving family.
HUEY has been neutered, chipped & had a nice shampoo & nail trim while we were at it :)
Huey is very gentle at taking treats, shows no interest in cats & the only interest he has in other dogs is "play time"!!!!
